Slowly as the story unfolds the battle between scientifically thinking doctors and the evil witch-craft performers unfolds. The first half of the story deals with the struggles of the parents and the people associated with Tulasi. The story revolves around Tulasi, who is affected by "Kashmora" an evil power that kills those affected by it in 21 days. ![]() What is very important in Yandamoori's novels is the build up to the suspense and thrill, the emphasis on human nature and values and his characterization of the protagonists of the story. This book has been recommended by many people to me. I have earlier read Ashtavakra, in which Yandamoori Veerendranath explores the thin lines between science and witch-craft.
